Okay, so I am feeling totally guilty about neglecting my blog so badly!! I have discovered facebook and have been so wrapped up in reconnecting with some long lost friends that I have set my blog on the back burner. I apologize to anyone who has looked to see if I have posted. Plus, I have found some great blogs out there that I LOVE to check in on. Oh well, I will try harder to update more often :).

I will share something on here that I shared on my facebook page the other day...

I was on my home from picking up the kids from daycare (after work) and this is the conversation I heard coming from the back of the van. Oh, let me tell you first that Thing 1 (my 8 year old daughter) was blowing kisses across the van to Thing 2 (my 5 year old son).

Macy: Connor I kissed your cheek
Connor: YUCK
Macy: Connor I kissed your arm
Connor: YUCK!!
Macy: Connor I kissed your armpit!
Connor: YUCK!!!....Macy did it taste yucky when you kissed my armpit?

I about died!!

We have had a visitor at our house for the last few days. My husband's best friend from highschool has been spending some time at our place. It has been fun! Of course I have been working so I haven't gotten to see much of him.

We have a big Christmas party at AWANA tomorrow night so I will be heading to the church tonight to help set-up.

I think I will actually get to do some Christmas baking this weekend. My mother had ankle surgery on Friday and so is homebound for a while, so I think I will be taking the kids over to my parent's place Saturday morning to do some baking!!

Christmas is coming fast and I really don't have much done for it. Of course we are really trying to focus more on Christ this year anyway. I think we may try for the whole birthday party for Jesus thing this year. I don't know yet, we will see.

Well, those were my random thoughts for today. I hope you are all enjoying your time preparing for the celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Have a great day!

This is the picture we took last night to use in our Christmas Cards this year. My goal is to have my Christmas cards in the mail this Wednesday. That would be a first since I usually have the cards made and ready to go and either never get them mailed out or it usually happens in January. This year I am turning over a new leaf!

Today I am thankful for my family. God has blessed me with just the perfect people to surround me with. Including my extended family. I love you all very much!

That's it, just a quick update for today!

link didn't work

I have to apologize because my link to Dandelion Seeds website didn't work. I am still new to this and still trying to learn things. Bare with me please.

Thankfulness

I got an idea (kind of) from a friend of mine, Dandelion Seeds, about saying what you are thankful for every day from November 1st until Thanksgiving Day (on your blog). So I am going to try to do that - just starting a little late. I will share what my family says they are thankful for also.

What are you thankful for:
Me - "My Church"
Hubby - "Warm house" - as it has officially turned to winter weather here in MN! It is down into the 20's today. Brrrr.
Thing 1 - "Trees because without them we wouldn't have oxygen."
Thing 2 - "um, pretty much everything"
Thing 3 - when asked what he was thankful for he said, "room room". Which is his motorcycle sound! I am surprised we actually got a response from him since he doesn't really talk yet.

There is so much to be thankful for!

Well I am off to do some laundry and cleaning and preparing to start another busy week - oh and spend some time with my hubby and the Things!

Tomorrow is work/school, then chiropractor appts, then an Implementation Team meeting at church for me, then my bi-weekly ladies bible study. Tues. hubby is off of work so it is an easier day and all I have scheduled is work. Wednesday is work/school and then Awana at church (I am a co-director). Thurs. is work/school and my chiro appt then home. Friday is just work/school and then home. Yay - I guess it is not as busy as I was thinking it was going to be.

Okay it is really time to go since Thing 3 has a face full of Twix and stinky diaper needing to be changed.

Have a wonderful Sunday evening!

Here it is. My first post in my first blog. I have to say that I am a little nervous wondering if I am up to this challenge. We will give it try and see what happens.

Let me introduce myself.

First and foremost, I am a child of God. Learning new aspects of his love everyday.

My name is Tonia.

I am married to the most WONDERFUL man on this planet. We joined our lives together 12 years ago. I was 18 and he was 21 (oops, guess that lets the cat out of the bag that I am officially 30).

The Lord has blessed us with 3 beautiful children so far. Thing 1: daughter-8 years old, Thing 2:=son-5 years old, Thing 3:=son - 20 months old.

We have a fish name Louis and one crazy little dog named Corkie.

I work full-time outside of the home as a program secretary at an Education District here in town. I have been there for almost 9 years.

Our life is full of chaos but through it all we are just trying to seek Him.

I hope you enjoy following our journey called "Life".
